Private operators like Zingbus, Laxmi Holidays, and RedBus run overnight Volvos from Kashmiri Gate and Majnu Ka Tilla to Aut. Cost: ₹1,100–₹1,500. Departures: 8 PM–10 PM. Journey time: 10–12 hours depending on traffic.

From Aut, shared taxis to Jibhi cost ₹1,500–₹1,800 for the full vehicle (split among 4–6 passengers). Per person: ₹250–₹450. The climb takes 1.5–2 hours. Shared taxis leave when full — wait time varies from 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on passenger flow.
