Transport costs: Delhi to Jibhi
Transport is the biggest line. HRTC and private Volvo buses from Delhi to Aut cost roughly ₹1,100–₹1,500 per person each way, so about ₹2,200–₹3,000 for the round trip. Book 2–3 days ahead for weekends, as fares often climb close to departure.
From Aut to Jibhi, a taxi costs around ₹1,500–₹1,800 for the whole vehicle. Split between 4–6 people, that's roughly ₹250–₹450 each, each way. If you end up with the taxi to yourself you pay the full fare, and it can be more in peak season. A local bus is under ₹100 if you have time. With shared taxis, round-trip transport usually comes to about ₹2,700–₹3,900 per person.

Accommodation: dorm vs private suite
Dorm beds are the cheapest way to stay. At The Rustic Jibhi, a bed in the 6-bed mixed dorm is ₹600 a night, and the 4-bed mixed dorm and the female-only dorm are ₹750. Two nights in a dorm comes to ₹1,200–₹1,500.

Food costs: café vs local
Local dhabas and small eateries serve simple meals (dal, rice, roti, sabzi) for less than the cafés. If you eat mostly local, ₹400–₹600 a day is a reasonable budget.
Café meals cost more, so plan on roughly ₹800–₹1,200 a day if you eat most meals at cafés. Room rates at The Rustic Jibhi don't include dinner, but the café upstairs serves food and drinks through the day and into the evening, and whether you're dining alone or open to company, there's a space for you. Activity costs: treks and day trips
Most of the best things here are walks. The Jibhi waterfall is about a 15-minute walk (1.5 km) from The Rustic Jibhi; carry a little cash for tea stalls and any small entry charge. A taxi from Jibhi up to Jalori Pass usually costs around ₹800–₹1,000 one way, easy to split between a few people, and from the pass you can walk to Serolsar Lake. On the way, our café in Shoja, about 5 km below the pass, is a good coffee stop.
A day trip to Chehni Kothi by taxi is roughly ₹1,500–₹2,000 return. Guides are optional for most day walks, as the main trails are well used and people in the villages are generally happy to point you the right way. Mid-range traveller (private suite shared between two, café meals, a private taxi or two): roughly ₹8,000–₹11,000 per person. That's about ₹3,000–₹4,500 for transport, ₹3,000 for your half of the suite, ₹1,600–₹2,400 for food and ₹400–₹800 for activities. Travelling solo in a suite adds another ₹3,000.
Money-saving tips
Book buses early, especially for weekends. Share the Aut taxi; we can often put you in touch with other guests arriving the same morning. Eat local for most meals and save café time for when you really want it. In a group of 4–6, one taxi covers you for most trips.
There isn't much shopping in Jibhi compared with Manali, which helps. Spend on experiences, like a good trail day, rather than things. Carry some cash: ATMs in the valley can be unreliable, and some smaller places and taxi drivers prefer cash even though UPI is widely accepted.
