Volunteer FAQs
What is the minimum stay?
21 days. That is the shortest chapter that lets you settle in, contribute, and leave something real behind.
Can artists apply?
Yes. Musicians, muralists, photographers, filmmakers, writers, poets, movement artists and makers are all welcome — bring a clear idea and a portfolio or reel.
Is this paid?
This is an exchange: stay and selected meals or café credit, not a salary. Any paid opening will be described clearly.
How many hours a day?
Around 4–5 hours of contribution, with weekly time off. Exact rhythm depends on the role and season.
What should I send in my application?
Dates (21+ days), the role or art form, a short portfolio/reel link, what you want to make or host, and why Rustic feels right.
Can couples apply?
Yes, if both people apply for useful roles and we have space for the same dates.
