How to Reach Jibhi from Chandigarh

The direct drive
From Chandigarh, Jibhi is about 260 km away and usually takes 7–8 hours by car, depending on traffic around Kiratpur Sahib and Mandi. The route follows the Chandigarh–Manali highway through Kiratpur Sahib, Bilaspur and Mandi to Aut. At Aut, leave the highway, take the road for Banjar, then climb on to Jibhi.
The main highway sections are generally well maintained, but mountain road conditions can vary, especially after rain and on the narrower road beyond Aut. Buses and taxis
HRTC and private buses run from ISBT Sector 43 towards Kullu and Manali. Get off at Aut, which usually takes around 8 hours, then take a local bus or taxi for the last 1–1.5 hours to Jibhi. All in, plan on about 9–10 hours including the change at Aut. A taxi from Aut to Jibhi usually costs around ₹1,500–₹1,800 for the whole vehicle, so it's worth sharing.
A private taxi from Chandigarh straight to Jibhi usually costs somewhere around ₹5,000–₹7,000, depending on the vehicle and the season.
