Group Trip to Jibhi

A complete planning guide for group trips to Jibhi with 10+ people. Booking process, group pricing, logistics, and activities for college and corporate groups.

Why Jibhi works for groups

Jibhi is ideal for groups of 10–30 people. Unlike Manali, there's no mall road chaos or overcrowded markets. The valley offers a contained environment where groups can bond without distractions. Rustic Jibhi can accommodate up to 30 guests across dorms and private rooms, with common areas designed for group activities.

Groups from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chandigarh regularly visit for college trips, corporate retreats, and friend groups. The hostel setup — community dinners, bonfires, trek coordination — naturally brings people together without forced team-building exercises.

Booking process for large groups

For groups of 10+ people, book directly via WhatsApp (+91 95107 33999) at least 3–4 weeks in advance. Share group size, dates, room type preferences (dorms vs private rooms), and any special requirements (dietary restrictions, activity preferences). Rustic provides group booking confirmations with room allocation.

For corporate groups, ask about invoice billing and GST. For college groups, ask about student discounts and faculty accommodation. A 20% advance payment is typically required to secure group bookings, with balance payable on arrival via UPI or bank transfer.

Group pricing and accommodation

Dorm beds for groups: ₹550–₹650 per night per person (group discount from standard ₹600–₹750). Private rooms for groups: ₹2,500–₹3,000 per night per room (group discount from standard ₹3,000+). Groups booking 10+ beds get 10–15% discount on dorm rates.

Room allocation depends on group composition. College groups often prefer dorms for bonding. Corporate groups often mix private rooms for leadership and dorms for teams. Female-only dorms are available for women's groups. Discuss room split during booking to ensure everyone's comfort.

Logistics coordination

Transport is the biggest logistics challenge for groups. From Delhi, coordinate overnight Volvo buses from Kashmiri Gate or Majnu Ka Tilla. Book 20–30 seats together if possible. From Aut, coordinate multiple taxis or a mini-bus for the group. Rustic can help arrange Aut–Jibhi transport if notified in advance.

For self-driving groups, coordinate carpooling from Delhi or Chandigarh. Parking is available at Rustic. Designate a group coordinator to manage arrival times and communicate with the hostel. Stagger arrivals if buses arrive at different times.

Group activities and itineraries

Day 1: Arrival, check-in, and group dinner. Evening bonfire and icebreaker activities. Day 2: Group trek to Jalori Pass and Serolsar Lake (split into smaller groups if needed). Alternative: Chehni Kothi cultural day trip. Day 3: Waterfall walk, café hopping, and departure.

Rustic can arrange guided treks, local village walks, and bonfire setups with music. For corporate groups, ask about dedicated workspace for offsite sessions. The in-house café can handle group meal orders with advance notice.

Group dining and dietary requirements

The in-house café serves group meals with advance notice. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner can be arranged for ₹300–₹400 per person per day (basic meals) or ₹500–₹700 per person per day (café-style meals). Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

Inform the hostel about dietary restrictions during booking — allergies, religious dietary requirements (halal, Jain), and preferences. Local dhabas can also accommodate groups for variety. Carry sufficient cash for group payments — some places may not accept UPI for large bills.
